She was captain of the 2012 "Fierce Five", and 2016 "Final Five,"" U.S. women's Olympic gymnastics team. She received an Olympic gold medal for team competitions during the 2016 Olympics. Gabby Douglas, her teammate, also won gold. Raisman was also awarded silver in the individual all around and floor exercise.
