Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a popular American performer and actress. Bell is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native who was born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). Kristen was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan, to the family of a Polish mother and a father who has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen discovered a passion to perform on the age of a child. She was able to land her first part in an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell aged 13 at the time her mother enrolled as an agent was also cast in advertisements for newspapers and television. She is now also taking individual acting classes. Bell made an appearance in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band and drama clubs. The school's show of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell studied musical theatre at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell completed her studies in 2001, decided to leave her studies at the university to play in the role of Becky on Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credit in Pootie Tang in 2001. The scene however, was trimmed and now her only appearance is in the end credits. Bell was in the film with Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in The Crucible Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
