Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 in 1978. She has acted on screen in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira has been an active participant in the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since March 2020. She is currently the manager of the Assassination Witness Project, which is an integral part of GI-TOC's multilateral involvement. The GI-TOC research concentrates on assassinations within the context of illicit economies. She is also fascinated by the effects of organized crime as well as human rights on the humanitarian agenda and law. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with honors with distinction International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva. Additionally, she holds an LL.M. and an MBA in International Relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula received a magnacum Bachelor's degree in laude from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Legal and Social Sciences. She is a lawyer by training and worked for 4 years in an attorney firm for public law. She has also held assisting roles with non-governmental organizations based in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
